What is my Why?

Society continues to tell people a family must look a certain way. I am living proof it does not. I want to share my story and my authentic self with the world to say thank you to those who have loved me and helped raise me, regardless of our biological relation and thank you to the family I have found along the way. Family is who shows up for you and loves you, no matter what, no matter your relation. I believe that a family can be one parent, two parents, or multiple parents. Family isn't defined by gender, sexual orientation, race or relation. I believe blood and DNA doesn't define a family, love does. In my case, it's what brought some of my Chosen Family together in the first place, but we choose to pursue a relationship with each other every day.
